The W&D V2 Wet & Dry Sampler is an automatic environmental monitoring system designed for the separate collection of wet and dry atmospheric deposition samples. Developed in accordance with European Directive 2004/107/CE, the sampler enables accurate monitoring of airborne pollutants deposited through rainfall, snowfall, and dry particulate matter.
The system automatically switches between the wet and dry collection containers using an integrated heated rain sensor. During precipitation events, the dry collector is closed while the wet collector is opened, ensuring complete separation of wet and dry deposition samples for subsequent laboratory analysis. The integrated heating system allows reliable operation even during snow, ice, and hail events.
Constructed from anodized aluminium and stainless steel, the W&D V2 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in harsh outdoor environments. Available with either AC mains power or an autonomous solar-powered configuration, it is ideally suited for continuous environmental monitoring and atmospheric deposition studies.
