The RSG2std-S Secondary Standard Class A Pyranometer is a high-accuracy double thermopile sensor designed for continuous measurement of global solar radiation in meteorological, environmental, and photovoltaic applications. Operating across the 0.3µm to 3µm spectral range, it delivers highly stable and reliable solar irradiance measurements with outstanding precision.
Built in accordance with ISO 9060 Secondary Standard (Class A) and WMO recommendations, the sensor features extremely low zero offset, excellent cosine response, fast response time, and exceptional long-term stability. Its expected daily uncertainty of less than 2% makes it suitable for professional solar resource assessment, climate monitoring, and research-grade measurements.
The rugged anodized aluminium housing with stainless steel components provides reliable long-term outdoor performance. Supporting thermopile, analog voltage, current, and optional RS485 ModBus communication, the RSG2std-S integrates easily with weather stations, SCADA systems, solar monitoring platforms, and data loggers. Optional heating and ventilation units are available in accordance with IEC 61724-1 for enhanced performance under harsh environmental conditions.
