Category: Module Temp
The Module Temperature Sensor-PT1000 with Modbus Output is a high-precision temperature sensor that uses an RTD (Resistive Temperature Detector) design, specifically the PT1000 sensor type. The sensor measures temperature by detecting the change in resistance of a platinum element, which is known for its stable and linear resistance-to-temperature relationship. Unlike traditional analog sensors, the Modbus output allows this sensor to communicate temperature data in a digital format over a Modbus RTU protocol, making it ideal for industrial, automation, and process control systems where digital communication is essential.
Module temperature sensor measures the back of the solar panels temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) by using a PT1000 probe. The probe, used to measure the Back of Module Temperature, is placed between two Backsheet with EVA sheet. In order to communicate via Modbus RTU Protocol, a transducer is used to convert PT000 to Modbus RTU. This Module Temperature Sensor Model is compatible with all Dataloggers and PLCs with RS485 input port.
