The MS-020S-O illuminance sensors is an all-weather sensor having a customized detector sensitivity for outdoors high light level applications. The built-in interference filter in conjunction with the detectors spectral response reproduces the CIE photopic curve and gives a calibrated output in lux (lx). Both sensors can be found in many professional applications to control or monitor industrial processes.

Small sensor ML-020 series are all-weather type compact sensors which are developed for measuring solar radiation and artificial sun light in various wavelengths depending on the measurement purpose. Although these are small sensors, they use collector which is specially designed to improve the cosine response and increase the sensitivity; by the combinations of filter and photodiode for measurement purpose, 3 types of sensors are developed.
For outdoor high-light level applications, the all-weather MS-020S-O illuminance sensor offers a customized detector sensitivity. The detector’s spectral response works with the built-in interference filter to replicate the CIE photopic curve and provide a calibrated output in lux (lx).
The MS-020S-O is frequently used in professional applications for regulating or monitoring industrial processes along with the ML-020S-I Lux Sensor.
