Model: LPPYRHE16 | Make: Delta Ohm |
Category: Pyrheliometer
The LPPYRHE16 pyrheliometer is a Class B instrument for direct measurement of solar irradiance, as per the ISO 9060:2018 classification. It is designed to measure the intensity of the sun’s rays, in watts per square meter, with precision and accuracy.
To ensure accurate measurements, the receiving surface of the pyrheliometer must be positioned perpendicularly to the sun’s rays, through the use of a solar tracker or similar device. The use of apposite diaphragms allows only direct light to hit the surface of the sensor, as per WMO and ISO 9060:2018 regulations, the pyrheliometer has a field of view of 5°.
The LPPYRHE16 pyrheliometer is available in four different versions, each designed to meet specific measurement needs. The LPPYRHE16 is a passive version, while the LPPYRHE16AC is active with a current output of 4…20 mA. The LPPYRHE16ACS version is also active with a 4…20mA current output, and it also includes an integrated amplifier-transmitter and RS485 serial output with MODBUS-RTU protocol. The LPPYHRE16AV version is active with voltage output 0…1 V, 0…5 V or 0…10 V, and the LPPYRHE16S version is active with RS485 serial output with MODBUS-RTU protocol.
The pyrheliometer is factory-calibrated and comes with a calibration report. It also comes with a hood, cartridge for silica-gel crystals, three refills, and a 4-pin M12 flying connector. The factory calibration ensures that the instrument is ready to use right out of the box, and the included accessories provide everything needed for quick and easy setup.
