The GTA Black Globe Air Temperature Sensor is a high-precision instrument designed to measure black globe temperature for thermal comfort, heat stress, and environmental monitoring applications. The sensor utilizes a 150 mm black painted copper globe with an integrated Pt100 platinum resistance sensing element to accurately measure the combined effects of solar radiation, air temperature, and wind.
The sensing element is housed inside a durable copper globe treated to resist oxidation and environmental degradation, ensuring reliable long-term performance in demanding outdoor conditions. Its high measurement accuracy and fast response make it suitable for continuous monitoring in professional meteorological and occupational safety applications.
Designed in accordance with WMO Annex 8 recommendations, the GTA supports Pt100, voltage, current, and RS485 Modbus outputs for seamless integration with weather stations, data loggers, SCADA systems, and environmental monitoring networks. Its compact construction and low power consumption make it ideal for both permanent and portable monitoring installations.
