The TA/TAV Air Temperature Sensor is a professional-grade instrument designed for precise air temperature measurement in meteorological, environmental, agricultural, and research applications. Built around a high-accuracy 1/3 DIN Pt100 platinum resistance sensing element, the sensor delivers stable and reliable temperature measurements under varying climatic conditions.
The sensing element is housed inside a multi-plate radiation shield that protects it from direct solar radiation and UV exposure while ensuring proper airflow for accurate ambient temperature measurement. The TA model operates with natural ventilation, while the TAV version incorporates forced ventilation for enhanced measurement accuracy in low-wind conditions.
Designed in accordance with WMO and EN 15518-3:2011 standards, the TA/TAV supports Pt100 resistance output as well as voltage, current, and RS485 ModBus communication options for seamless integration with automatic weather stations, environmental monitoring systems, SCADA platforms, and research networks.
