The SFT Soil Heat Flux Sensor is a precision thermopile-based instrument designed to measure the flow of thermal energy through the soil. It provides accurate and reliable heat flux measurements that are essential for studying soil energy balance, plant growth conditions, and environmental thermal processes.

The sensor uses a high-sensitivity thermopile element to detect heat flow passing through the ground and generates a natural millivolt output proportional to the thermal flux. Optional signal conditioning enables voltage, current, or RS485 ModBus outputs for seamless integration with weather stations, data loggers, and environmental monitoring systems.

Designed for long-term outdoor operation, the SFT features a compact ceramic-plastic composite construction with excellent thermal stability and low thermal resistance. It is widely used in agrometeorology, soil science, hydrology, and geological studies where continuous soil heat flux monitoring is required.
