The RSG1 Class B Pyranometer is a high-performance thermopile-based solar radiation sensor developed for precise measurement of global solar irradiance in meteorological, environmental, and photovoltaic applications. It measures the global component of solar radiation across the 0.3µm to 3µm spectral range while providing excellent accuracy, low uncertainty, and outstanding long-term stability.
Designed in compliance with ISO 9060 Class B and WMO recommendations, the RSG1 offers fast response, low zero offset, excellent cosine response, and minimal non-linearity for dependable solar radiation monitoring. Its high sensitivity and improved daily uncertainty make it well suited for professional weather stations, climate monitoring networks, and solar energy performance assessments.
Constructed from anodized aluminium and stainless steel with IP67 protection, the RSG1 is built for reliable long-term outdoor operation. Multiple signal output options, including thermopile, analog voltage, current, and RS485 ModBus, allow seamless integration with data loggers, SCADA systems, solar monitoring equipment, and environmental monitoring platforms.
