The Galltec Mela TPC1.S/x-ME is a compact, high-precision temperature sensor designed for measuring temperature in air and other non-aggressive gases. It belongs to the PC.S and PC.S-ME series and features a rod-type design with a plug-in connection, allowing easy integration into industrial and environmental monitoring systems.

This model uses a Pt100 resistance temperature detector (RTD) as per DIN EN 60751. The -ME variant offers enhanced measurement accuracy (Class 1/3 DIN) and comes equipped with a ZE 20 membrane filter, with optional upgrades to sintered stainless steel filters (ZE 21/22) for harsh environments such as coastal or dusty areas.

The sensor provides a 0...1 V analog output, ideal for interfacing with data acquisition systems and PLCs. It is available with different output configurations upon request. The coupling plug in the -ME version is IP67-rated, providing excellent protection in challenging environmental conditions, while the sensor itself is protected up to IP65 (electronics) and IP30 (sensor head).

With its wide operating temperature range (-30 to +70°C) and robust build, the TPC1.S/x-ME is well-suited for HVAC, weather stations, cleanroom monitoring, and industrial automation where accurate and stable temperature monitoring is required.
