The ASTA-IDR Hydrometric Staff Gauge is a professional visual water level measurement system designed for hydrological monitoring applications. Manufactured from anodized aluminium with a special anticorrosion treatment, the gauge offers long-term durability and resistance against abrasion, moisture, and contaminated environments.
Its highly visible iridescent yellow background combined with black markings ensures excellent readability even from long distances and under adverse weather conditions. The colour combination has been specifically selected following extensive field testing to provide clear and reliable water level observation in real-world monitoring applications.
The gauge is manufactured in modular one-meter sections and includes level markings every ten centimeters with reference notches every centimeter. It can be installed vertically (ASTAIDR-90) or with a 30° inclination (ASTAIDR-30), making it suitable for rivers, canals, reservoirs, dams, hydrological stations, and environmental monitoring projects.
