MS-80 Albedometer:
The MS-80 Albedometer is intended to measure albedo with the least amount of error in a variety of applications, such as meteorology and solar power plants using bifacial PV modules. It is made up of two MS-80 Pyranometers and the MS-Albedo Kit with a glare shield.
With unprecedented low zero offsets, analogue output, a 5-year warranty, and a recalibration interval, the MS-80 is an ISO 9060:2018 Class A leader and the go-to choice for large weather monitoring sensor networks as well as photovoltaic system performance monitoring around the world. It also complies with IEC 61724-1.
The MS-80’s proprietary design includes an isolated thermopile detector. The diffusor enables all sun wavelengths to pass while guaranteeing that the total energy received at the detector level, including hazardous UV irradiance, is far lower than typical. It is hermetically sealed under a pure quartz diffusor and contained inside a small single-dome.
The MS-80 is superior to competitor pyranometers and best in class for accuracy, speed, and dependability in every application because to our design and dedication to quality.
MS-80 pyranometers are constructed under strict quality checks and performance evaluations. With a measurement report that is included with the sensor and a suggested recalibration period of five years, EKO offers calibration that complies with the international requirements outlined by ISO/IEC17025/9847.
